Redback SmartEdge 800 reports %SYSLOG-2-CRIT: /netbsd: drive failures: REDUNDANCY_NOT_ACTIVE to switch-over
Symptom:
The active (or in this case the standb) reports Cross-Connect Routing Processor - XCRP reports errors similar to the following;
Nov 27 06:35:24: %LOG-6-SEC_STANDBY: Nov 27 06:35:24: %SYSLOG-2-CRIT: /netbsd: st=0x80, er=0x00
Nov 27 06:35:57: %LOG-6-SEC_STANDBY: Nov 27 06:35:54: %SYSLOG-2-CRIT: /netbsd: st=0x80, er=0x00
Nov 27 06:35:57: %LOG-6-SEC_STANDBY: Nov 27 06:35:54: %SYSLOG-2-CRIT: /netbsd: wd2a: device timeout writing fsbn 64 of 64-79 (wd2 bn 64; cn 0 tn 1 sn 1)

<snip>
Solution:
Reload the erroring XCRP, in this case, the standby using the following command;
- [local]Redback#reload standby (Reloads the system software on the standby controller card only.)
- [local]Redback#reload (reloads the system software on the active controller card first, and then reloads the standby controller card.)
If the reload fails to resolve it, the internal compact flash may need to be replaced.
